This Privacy Policy concerns the Danish Society for Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Foundation (hereinafter DSNAMEF) handling and processing of personal data. "Personal Information" includes information about an identified or identifiable company/person.

DSNAMEF is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter GDPR). We make use of a high level of protection and always treat your personal information in accordance with applicable laws and principles of confidentiality.

Personal data registered with DSNAMEF is processed through IT systems, including computers that only DSNAMEF employees have access to. The computers are also located in controlled facilities, and our security measures are continuously monitored to determine whether our user information is handled properly and with due regard for your rights as a user.

To the extent that personal information about you is processed, you have the right to disclose which personal information may be assigned to you according to the GDPR. If it appears that the information or data processed about you is incorrect or misleading, you are entitled to require these corrected, deleted or blocked. The following deals with processing and handling of information in connection with a person's completion of the membership form
When a person completes the membership form, the information entered is securely sent over the Internet to our CRM system. We note that the only personal information that is mandatory to complete is:

  • Company name

  • Name of contact person

  • Title

  • Phone

  • Email

  • Company address

  • Postal Code

  • City

  • Country

  • EAN-number

  • CVR-number

  • E-mail for invoicing

Who has access to this information?
DSNAMEF staff handling your information in providing the agreed service to you. DSNAMEF is subject to the Data Protection Act, including confidentiality, and handles personal data accordingly. The DSNAMEF staff also receives instruction in compliance with the data protection rules.

Once a company/persons profile has been produced, it is only the profile recipient himself and DSNAMEF staff who have access to the profile.
